Polgarrie - Low Energy Home

Polgarrie is a cottage located on the Dornoch Firth in Scotland. The clients asked for a new entrance to their property that embraced the surrounding landscape. The house is now entered through a light filled space capturing views to the surrounding hills. The design reflects the simple form of the cottage. It is clad in local larch, which has weathered over time, blending into it’s surroundings.
